I’ve had some Itunes credit from last Christmas since it was originally a gift for my friend Annabelle. But because she lives in the US, my NL-bought gift card wouldn’t work with her US account. Lame, I know. But the wonderful people at Apple Customer Service reverted the purchase and loaded the credits onto mine.
I have made two album purchases and both have been incredibly worth the gil.
“Money”. I meant “money”, damnit.

First one was purchased last week: Piano Squall’s GAME album (http://pianosquall.com/). Now what’s so different about his piano arrangements that you can’t already find elsewhere? (The various FF piano collections, for example). It’s simple, really. I’m a sucker for charities, donating a small sum monthly to Greenpeace, World Wildlife Fund, Amnesty International, and others @.@. Proceeds of GAME purchases benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. What’s also commendable for this talented pianist are his concerts at various conventions, where here sells hardcopies of his album. Again, the proceeds go to NMSS. Talented, selfless and touching fans with his beautiful notes, Michael Gluck is a good guy.
Check out his demo. Older animé fans and FF fans will definitely recognize tracks. If you’re not going to get the full album, at least get his FF Battle theme compilation!

All this charity talk kind of makes me want to go the Brangelina route later and adopt kids. But something tells me I should focus on my current plans before anything else. That something being a wonderfully patient woman in the Bay Area. <3

The second one, I got last night. Caitlin Plage, a longtime friend of mine from AVAing fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally released her album on Itunes. And it’s a fantastic debut album. Check out some of the tracks on her Myspace Music page.
My personal favorite is, and always has been, “Killing Me”.
I am really, immensly, incredibly, amazingly proud of her. I remember her singing clips from yeaaaaaaaars ago. She’s worked so hard on her music and all the wait has been worth it. I really recommend it. And don’t knock it because it’s christian-inspired rock. Because if you do, I’m going to punch you in the face. Okay, not really. Because I’m skinny and weak and can only physically injure my little sister. With luck.
Either way. Get your asses to the Itunes store and give those two awesome artists a listen.
PS: I resumed playing some games on my “Currently Playing” list. I’ll update that page. Really.
